A Call to Night & Day Prayer

20120418-083631.jpg

I stood at the foot of the Himalayan Mountains, in a nation where 2 out of the 4 major world religions originated from, in a city of refuge for Tibetan Buddhism, & I heard an internal cry in my heart, “Am I worthy of night & day prayer?” My heart was struck Read more of this post

Obedience in Orissa

20120413-193626.jpg

I woke up at 4am feeling the weight of my decision going to Orissa. I felt somewhat nauseous & thought long & hard about my wife & son. Did I hear correctly from the Lord? Am I living by faith? Am I willing to die? Am I stupid? My friend, roommate, coworker, & local Indian contact also woke up before dawn to seek the Lord.

As my friends picked me up at the airport in the coastal city of Vishakhapatnam, we started talking about how our YWAM Kansas City DTS students were doing on outreach so far. My wife Joyce & I have been so proud of both the teams that are going hard for the Lord. Our team in India have been ministering to orphans & people in tribal villages that are unreached unengaged people groups (UUPG’s). During our conversation in the car, my friend starts talking about Orissa & the current situation of persecution & sharing with me how it all began. While I was in India, 2 Italians were kidnapped byMaoist rebels in the village

The Vision is Jesus

20120405-094523.jpg

My recent trip to C has been a very rewarding trip & onethat has been prayed about for many years. I have shared my testimony many times about how I even got involved with the Back to Jerusalem Movement & it still gives me goosebumps.

In 2006, someone gave me a copy of “The Heavenly Man” by Paul Hattaway & Brother Yun. This is a biography of the persecution of Brother Yun’s life & also that of C as a whole. When I was given the book I personally had no interest in reading it because I didn’t have a heart for C. I put the book away for a few Read more of this post

Preparing For A Coming Move of God

Strong Love

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against Gods elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? I’m Not Afraid of the End

One of the most controversial & mysterious themes of the Bible deals with eschatology, the study of the End-Times. When reading the book of Revelation, many people fear the series of events that will unfold in the end & rightly so. I just want to point out what the Lord has been graciously revealing to me to bring encouragement to you in 2012.

First of all, I am not afraid of the end because I know the End is a Person, Jesus Christ. I am not afraid of Jesus. Jesus said

Happy Birthday Jesus

I think most people know that Christmas is more than buying presents & decorating a tree. When the angels announced the birth of the Messiah to the shepherds in Bethlehem, this was a declaration of the Kingdom of God coming down from Heaven into earth.

Christmas is not only about remembering Read more of this post
